    Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden
    Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Richmond

    Since its opening in 1984, this public garden has served as a place of study and display of plants. It consists of many different gardens, a garden shop, teahouse, garden cafe and library, to name a few. The Carriage House hosts educational activities for children and adults. Group tours are welcome and guided tours can be arranged.

    Maymont
    Maymont was the 100-acre Victorian country estate of Major James H. and Sallie May Dooley. The Dooleys completed their opulent mansion in 1893 and spent the next three decades creating the gardens, landscapes and outbuildings you see here today. Attractions for visitors added over the years include the Nature Center, Native Virginia Wildlife Exhibits, Childrenīs Farm and Carriage Collection.
